The beef silverside, also called magatello or lacerto , is a cut of fine meat obtained from the rear part of the beef thigh, precisely from the posterior edge of the thigh and is in direct contact with the rump and subside. It is a muscle that is always in movement and this determines the typical characteristics of this meat: lean, tender and tasty.
